STRAP IN FOR A RED BULL BUTTER CUP SERIES DOUBLE HEADER
Series continues with two stops at Appalachian Ski Mountain, NC and Perfect North, IN

New York, NY – February 4, 2009 – After three successful stops in New Hampshire, Vermont and New Jersey, the Red Bull Butter Cup series steps up to the plate with a double-header weekend of spreading and shredding on the custom-built butter pads. With stops at Appalachian Ski Mountain, NC and Perfect North Slopes, IN on February 6th and 7th respectively, locals will get the chance to showcase their creativity in technical flatland trickery.

This Saturday, Appalachian Ski Mountain will play host to the series, combining old-school history (as the first resort in North Carolina) along with new-school tricks. Carrying on the legacy of history, the event picks up and moves to Perfect North on Sunday, who are celebrating their 30th year in operation. With the series pressing on this weekend, Red Bull Butter Cup is sure to bring out the best regional competitors around to spread it on thick.

The Red Bull Butter Cup series is all about how much style snowboarders can spread onto the custom-made features also known as “butter pads.” Riders will jib, bonk, tap and slide across the pads, making sure to spread the tricks on smooth. Local riders will battle it out in a jam format for cash and prizes, where overall style and creativity will help the cream rise to the top.

Upcoming Red Bull Butter Cup stops take place at Appalachian Ski Mountain, NC (2/6) Perfect North, IN (2/7) Brandywine, OH (2/14) Raging Buffalo, IL (2/20) Bolton Valley, VT (2/26) Mt. Holly, MI (2/27) Holiday Valley, NY (3/6) Devils Head, WI (3/13) & Summit Board Shop, MN (3/27)
