SHOP PROFILE: Fire On The Mountain

The first time I walked into Fire On the Mountain / Burning Boards, I was greeted by Jerry Garcia on the stereo, EC shred flicks on the TVs, a tall kid sitting on a couch while reading a book about landscaping plants, and a certain young gentleman named Joey Ciprari.

Sacred Boardshop, in New Paltz, NY, is easily one of our favorite core shops on the East. They rock BozWreck, run the local vid and photo scene, and like owner and BozWreck homie Cliff Glover says, are doing it the right way — “taking it drink by drink — I mean, day by day…”
